The Facilities Manager works in close partnership with various stakeholders and will encompass responsibilities related to maintenance, event planning, and operations management. The position will manage the planning, execution, and oversight of all facility and mechanical operations including maintenance, communication systems, energy management, and event coordination for the organization’s campus, along with the two other facilities. The role also involves organizing room management and event setups to ensure all areas are functional, efficient, and inviting for both employees and visitors.

This position emphasizes a proactive approach to swiftly address maintenance issues and fosters collaboration with vendors. Additionally, the Facilities Manager provides support for events, coordinates room arrangements, and offers creative assistance to staff and guests, ensuring a high-quality environment for work and social gatherings.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Maintenance management and coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate all facilities maintenance, repair, safety programs, and upkeep.
  • Serve as point of contact for contractors and vendors

Contractor and vendor management

  • Maintain all contractor records and ensure compliance

Landscaping and facility aesthetics

  • Manage all grounds upkeep and landscaping
  • Maintain the interior of facilities
  • Plan and oversee holiday décor setup

Event Planning

  • Oversee meeting and event set-up and break down
  • Work with vendors and caterers
  • Manage special events and planning
