GEE Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain - Analyst to join our client’s team in the Columbus area. This role is central to managing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory planning, and enhancing customer satisfaction through streamlined operations and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan inventory needs and submit purchase orders (POs) based on inventory levels and lead times.
  • Follow up on open orders with suppliers to ensure timely and complete dispatch.
  • Monitor all open orders and incoming shipments, providing accurate estimated arrival times (ETAs).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements in the supply chain.
  • Secure cost-effective supplier arrangements that adhere to financial controls and process standards.
  • Maintain data integrity for POs, verifying pricing, dates, quantities, and other key details.
  • Conduct weekly calls with key vendors to review production schedules and optimize orders.
  • Work with leadership to define and track KPIs, develop data models, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor sales and inventory trends, recommending reorders for high-demand items and strategies for slow sellers.
  • Assist in developing flexible spreadsheets to assess supply chain scenarios and inputs.
  • Manage Oracle NetSuite system entries to optimize the order-to-cash process.
  • Participate in strategic supply chain cost-saving initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Proficiency in data analysis, particularly using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management abilities and minimal supervision needs.
  • Basic negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, including MRP software experience.

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, or logistics.
