GEE Group is seeking an Engineering Specialist to support a leading manufacturing facility. This role plays a vital part in overseeing engineering projects, optimizing equipment performance, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate engineering projects from planning through execution.
Oversee the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Assess and refine product designs while managing engineering changes.
Act as a liaison with customers, vendors, and field teams to resolve technical challenges and align resources.
Handle administrative tasks, including report analysis and budget approvals.
Establish and enforce engineering policies, procedures, and standards.
Drive equipment modifications and process enhancements to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Explore and evaluate new technologies with potential business applications.
Review and refine engineering processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support the Director of Engineering with project management and daily operational needs.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Other Considerations:
- Military-equivalent education with 4+ years of applicable experience.
- High school diploma/GED with 8+ years of related experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and project planning.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to work independently.
