GEE Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee infrastructure, maintenance, and compliance for a growing manufacturing operation.
Why This Role?
As Facilities Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the daily operations of critical systems—keeping everything from HVAC and electrical to security and emergency response running at peak performance. You’ll lead a skilled team, manage budgets, and implement strategies that enhance efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Own:
- Facility Operations & Maintenance – Keep the facility running efficiently by overseeing the upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Safety & Compliance – Implement and maintain OSHA, EPA, and industry standards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Team Leadership – Manage, train, and develop maintenance staff while coordinating with outside contractors.
- Budget & Resource Optimization – Develop cost-effective maintenance plans, negotiate vendor contracts, and maximize equipment life cycles.
- Emergency & Risk Management – Lead emergency preparedness efforts, oversee fire protection systems, and respond to facility-related incidents.
- Energy & Sustainability Initiatives – Identify ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste.
- Facility Expansion & Improvements – Drive infrastructure projects, ensuring they’re completed on time and within budget.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in industrial facility or maintenance management
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in OSHA, EPA, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects
- Proficiency with CMMS, ERP systems, and preventive maintenance programs
- A strategic mindset with the ability to solve problems and optimize operations
