GEE Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels in electrical design, troubleshooting, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work with electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to resolve system malfunctions and optimize designs.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD 2009 or higher) to create and refine electrical designs and wiring schematics.
- Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Specify system components and ensure compliance with engineering and performance standards.
- Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Estimate project costs and assist in preparing bid documentation.
- Develop technical documents and reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical design, system integration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2009 or higher) for electrical design.
- Familiarity with commercial power systems and NFPA National Electrical Code is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
