Our partner, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations, supplier negotiations, and logistics strategies. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of 4 (3 Buyer/Planners + 1 MRO Coordinator).
- Assess supplier capabilities and negotiate pricing and terms for key production and aftermarket components.
- Drive efficient and effective procurement practices for direct purchases and current product needs.
- Oversee and implement logistics and freight strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Facilitate the Demand Management Team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
What You Bring:
- 4-year degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred, but flexible).
- Manufacturing procurement experience required; automotive industry experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop procurement professionals.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and optimizing purchasing processes.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic logistics and freight solutions.
