Key Responsibilities:
- Design and improve mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Utilize SolidWorks to develop and update 3D models and detailed drawings.
- Participate in engineering change management and design phase reviews.
- Develop design specifications, select materials, and optimize for manufacturing and assembly.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and failure mode assessments (FMEA)
- Maintain and manage technical documentation and design history records.
- Work with quality and test teams to validate product performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance design and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving field issues, implementing corrective actions.
What you Bring:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Exposure to electro-mechanical systems (motors, pumps, control systems, hydraulic components)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, injection molding, casting, extrusion, and welding
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical system integration
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
