GEE Group is seeking a Quality Manager for a premier Tier 1 automotive manufacturing client. This role is pivotal in fostering a zero-defect culture, ensuring product excellence, and driving collaboration between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion quality initiatives and lead a team of engineers, coordinators, and technicians to uphold the highest standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer and supplier quality discussions, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance.
  • Oversee new model launches, ensuring seamless integration of quality processes from suppliers to mass production.
  • Implement and enhance quality control methods, including TS/ISO standards and SPC tools.
  • Get hands-on—roll up your sleeves and lead problem-solving efforts directly on the plant floor.
  • Manage departmental planning to align short- and long-term quality objectives with business goals.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (~15%) to support quality operations.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within Tier 1 automotive.
  • Strong background in technical problem-solving, project management, and part maturation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and experience with 3D CAD software.
  • Expertise in TS/ISO quality standards, mistake-proofing methodologies, and SPC tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Hands-on mentality—willingness to engage directly with production, suppliers, and customers.
  • Flexibility to travel (~15%) as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (MBA or technical field).
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • CATIA V5 experience.
  • Strong documentation, leadership, and business planning abilities.
