GEE Group is partnering with a local company to find a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This role supports financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial data in the general ledger.
Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.
Provide support to Finance associates, field personnel, and during external audits.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in general accounting and financial analysis.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Concur, Coupa, and Oracle ERP is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
