Controller

As Controller, you will ensure the integrity and efficiency of financial operations, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization’s long-term financial health. You’ll oversee internal controls, financial reporting, and financing strategies while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Controller duties:
- Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial oversight.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting for executive decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Supervise a team, fostering professional growth and team success.
Controller Keys:
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA Preferred)
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in management or supervisory roles.
- Experience building teams and multiple business units would be a plus
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to build, develop, and mentor teams while collaborating effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Problem-Solving & Organization: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities.
